Connect Onggi to Claude
Add Onggi once as a connector in claude.ai. After that, pieces you pick together in a conversation travel locked through the post office to the Mailbox in your Onggi app. Not even Onggi’s server can read them on the way.
- Connect your Google account in the Onggi app (Settings, Data & sync).
- Custom connectors may depend on your Claude plan.
Steps
Open Connectors
- Settings
- Connectors
In claude.ai or the Claude app, open Settings and choose Connectors under Customize on the left.
Add a custom connector
- + Add
- Add custom connector
Choose + Add at the top right, then Add custom connector.
Enter
Onggias the Name, paste the address above as the MCP server URL, and choose Continue.Choose your Google account
Choose Connect next to Onggi in the connector list. Onggi’s connecting page opens.
Right after Continue, Claude also opens Onggi’s connector page. Connect there does the same.
On the Onggi post office page, read what it allows and choose Allow. Choosing your Google account comes next.
Choose the same Google account you connected in the Onggi app, so both see the same post office. Onggi asks Google only for your email address.
Turn it on in a conversation
In a new conversation, open the tools menu under the message box and switch Onggi on.
It may already be on: Claude often switches a newly added connector on by itself. If it is, leave it as it is.
Try it
Ask for something like this. Claude shows what it picked and sends only what you agree to.
From what we talked about today, pick a few lines that stayed with me and show them to me. Send the ones I choose to Onggi.
The first time it sends, Claude may show an approval window titled Claude wants to use Keep in Onggi, with the data to be sent as JSON code.
This is Claude’s own safety step: it lets you check the data before anything leaves for another service. Look it over and allow it.
Open the Onggi app and the pieces wait in your Mailbox (the envelope). Look them over and keep the ones you want. More in Using the post office.
